Emerging from one of the largest telecom and security firms in the Nordic region, AddSecure was established in the 1970s. Presently, it operates across multiple international markets, with significant footholds in Northern European regions.
The company offers secure data and communication services to over 50,000 users, encompassing client sites and emergency centers. Its clientele primarily operates within domains such as security and safety, building security and automation, digital healthcare, transportation, and logistics, as well as smart city initiatives.
A fast-growing business
“Originally our solutions were used in Sweden and Norway, but through a number of acquisitions throughout the years we are now present in 15 countries. Since our growth strategy is to acquire other companies, the number of system users is growing rapidly”, explains Anna Nyberg, Director of Quality Control at AddSecure.
When two companies within the AddSecure group merged a couple of years ago there was a need to review the management processes and systems. Consultants and system experts from CANEA were introduced to help define and map the processes, as well as set up a management system to support the operations.
CANEA ONE offers three essential modules:
CANEA Document, Process, and Workflow.
These modules are currently employed by the company for tasks such as managing documents, creating process models, and reporting issues or suggestions for ongoing enhancements. The entire process, from outlining the organization’s processes to establishing work methods, was developed from the ground up.
The advantage of CANEA ONE lies in its no-code system, which means that adjustments and upkeep can be easily managed without the need for coding expertise. This streamlined the process significantly. For instance, creating a workflow took just a few hours, achieved through a simple drag-and-drop interface in the design phase.
System Search Functionality:
Ensuring that the organization and its employees have control over pertinent documents is crucial. The ability to search for all documents and configure views based on tags attached to the documents has proven highly advantageous. This ensures that relevant information reaches the appropriate employees at the necessary times, according to Anna.
User-Friendly Interface:
CANEA ONE boasts a simple and intuitive interface overall. Users are presented with information that is pertinent to their specific roles, eliminating the need to seek authorization for specific functions. Instead, the interface presents the necessary information to facilitate task completion. Should an individual change their role within the company, system administrators can effortlessly modify the information and documents visible to that employee. By displaying only the required information, the interface remains streamlined and user-friendly.
Anticipated Future Progress:
Anna envisions further advancements in the near future. Not all companies within the AddSecure group have yet embraced the system’s structured approach to document management. Presently, the Finnish branch is poised to implement the system, with more branches following suit subsequently.
